MarkForger converts files you upload and returns the result. This page explains what we process to make that possible.
What we store
When you convert a file, we store the resulting document and limited metadata such as the original filename, conversion type, file size, and timestamps.
Retention
Converted documents and their metadata are deleted automatically 72 hours after creation.
Session identification
A session cookie associates conversions with your browser. It does not identify you personally or track you across other sites.
Country and language
We infer your country from your public IP address to choose the initial site language. We do not need to persist the raw IP address for this purpose. A language preference cookie stores any manual choice you make.
Your rights
You may stop using MarkForger at any time. Contact us if you need a document removed before the standard retention period ends.
